Connie Yando
Connie Yando started her skating here in Clinton as a young child. She has previously coached here at the Clinton Figure Skating Club as well as the New Hartford Skating Club. Connie coached the CFSC's first synchronized skating team who was very successful at the Empire State Winter Games and other competitions. Many of her students have passed all levels of the USFSA testing program and gone on to compete, as well as turn pro and teach. Connie has also worked with several hockey clinics, designed the first Hockey Power Skating program in the area, as well as worked with local high school hockey teams. She's managed the Oneida County Summer Ice Program for several years. Her full time job is in a medical office and an official grandmother. Connie's passion for skating and working with young children brought her back to her roots and she could not be more happy. "Everyone should learn to skate, if only to have a fun activity to do."
