Kevin has been on the figure skating board for eight years, six as a board member and is starting his 2nd year as vice president. He has been on many committees: ice show, governance, professional, club events, music, and many more. He grew up in Clinton and attended Clinton schools. For the last 19 years he has worked for the Kirkland Highway Department as a mechanic. Kevin started out at a young age enjoying skating himself. He has been on skates since age five, whether skating on the neighbor's pond or at the Clinton rink during after-school free skate sessions.
Kevin's two daughters have enjoyed their time at the rink also, saying it's their home most of the year. Amy, Kevin's oldest, started skating with the club at age eight and worked her way up to the level of high freestyle, graduated high school, and now coaches with the club. Tammy, Kevin's other daughter, followed her sister, starting to skate at an early age and working up to be a high level skater, with two more years of high school left. Both of Kevin's daughters have enjoyed their time with the club and have made many friends, whether in group lessons, in free skate practice times, synchronized skating at competitions, volunteering with lower level skaters, and now with coaching. Their experiences with the club have taught them many wonderful traits.
